"My newly built home office was big enough for me to incorporate a small working wine cellar into it. I thought of everything I wanted in order to improve quality and up production (>50 cases) - this is what I came up with. The cellar is climate controlled, can hold 592 bottles of wine, 6 carboys, 4 - thirty gallon wine barrels, files/records and most winemaking equipment. Additionally, it's a great humidor where I presently store about 400 cigars.
I looked at a lot of components and your racking system fit in perfect with my plans and helped me to maximize space. The only modification I made was to the cardboard box racks to accommodate carboys and cigar boxes.

I thought you might enjoy a few pictures.

You may notice I did a little custom work - not much really.

I was able to use the extra 'center ladders' in place of the 'end ladders' on the corner racks and the tasting table. This made it fit with no modifications and gave a unbroken look to the racking.

"Gentlemen:

I ordered a Koolspace 900 on Monday July 15. The next day it arrived.

I was truly amazed because I didn't expect it for a week. Installed the unit in my wine cellar that I built into a root cellar. I partitioned the root cellar so that about 600 cubic feet (a little less than half) is wine cellar. The wine cellar is fully insulated and the partition wall is a 2x6 stud wall. Our temperatures have lately often been over 100 F, so the cellar was getting close to 75 F when I ordered the unit. After installation it took a couple days to reduce the temperature to 57 and it is now holding there just fine. I'm very pleased with the Koolspace 900 and am very happy to finally have a temperature controlled wine cellar."

A while back (maybe 4 weeks ago) I ordered several of your redwood wine racks. Prior to that I had been working with some of you (Sue in particular) in coming up with a good design. I don't have much of a cellar; it's a rather small room, and Sue helped me modify my own plan to optimize the storage while maintaining good appeal. First, I couldn't believe how fast it arrived... within days of placing the order. It allowed me to get started a weekend sooner than I had planned. I couldn't be more pleased with the results. Your racks went together nicely, especially with the instructions provided. I was able to complete the entire cellar in the weekend (2 days). Your advice was very good; the wine cellar came out looking like it was totally custom built. Thanks for all your help and your incredibly fast response.
