Some units need to sit in a hole in the wall equal size to the cooling unit itself – WhisperKool XLT, Breezaire WK, Breezaire WKL, Breezaire WKC, Breezaire WKE, chillR, ChillR Plus, KoolR, KoolR Plus all require this type of wall installation. They are all wall mounted and vent to an adjacent room (although the WhisperKool and Breezaire wine cooling units are capable of venting directly to the outside in some circumstances & they also have split systems available).
Wall mounted cooling units are relatively simple to install and have cooling capacity ranging for smaller cubic footage to 2000 cubic feet.

With Rosehill wine cooling units chilling the air, that perfect glass is always at hand.

The ONAM water cooled cellar cooling system, the Breezaire split system cooling unit, and Wine Guardian cooling unit, don’t require a hole in the wall the size of the cooling unit. The ONAM water cooled system and the Wine Guardian cooling unit both duct cold air into the cellar. The Wine Guardian cooling unit, in particular, supplies cooling, heating, and humidity. The Wine Guardian is very similar to the Cellar Mate (Cellarmate) cooling unit. Wine Guardian is available from ¼ Ton to 2-ton capacity models.
