FAQ:

A lot of foam seems to form whenever I try to pour a glass of draft from my Keg Cooler?
There could be several reasons for this; 1. The Keg should be allowed to stand for a minimum of half an hour before you tap it. 2. Verify the C02 pressure is reading between 10~ 12 psi and that the keg cooler is operating within 36˚F ~ 40˚F (2˚C ~ 4˚C). 3. Release any excess air pressure via the release valve on the keg coupler. 4. Check your CO2 line (red hose) for any possible air leaks.

Where do I go to fill the CO2 tank for my keg cooler?
To find local a local supplier please look in the Yellow Pages under “Oxygen” suppliers.

Can I install my keg cooler directly into my bar?
Although modification of your appliance is not recommended and may void your warranty, this sort of installation is possible. However in order for the unit to receive proper ventilation, there must be 2 inches of clearance around the unit and 6 inches from the unit to the back wall. If you are going to mount the beer dispenser, to the top surface of the bar you must ensure the area between the dispenser (tower) and the top of the fridge remains sealed.

The entire Silhouette line can be built in! Unless specifically stated, all other Danby wine coolers require full clearance around the cooler for ventilation.

The service on the Silhouette Line is 2 year in house warranty. Meaning you call Danby & we'll send a technician to you. Please note, only the Silhouette line qualifies for in house service, all other units need to be brought into the numerous service depots.*

Plugging in your cooler

We recommend you let the unit stand for at least 2 hours before plugging in. Letting the cooler rest allows the compressor oil time to settle back to its proper location. Plugging it in immediately could result in damage to the unit and negate the warranty. A dedicated outlet is preferred.

Vibration

We've received some queries from potential buyers in regards to concerns about vibration in the Danby units. At Rosehill, we haven't received any complaints from our customers who purchased the Silhouette series. We also asked Danby about the vibration comments. Here is their response:

"The wine coolers include a rubber grommet in the compressor mounting that acts as a damper in order to mitigate the amount of vibration from the compressor - effectively preventing any level of vibration of consequence from transferring to the cabinet."

Important Shipping Info

US shipping cost is fixed for all of continental US. Extra charges may apply for Hawaii and Alaska.

Canadian shipping cost indicated is to major Canadian city. Extra charges may apply within Canada for smaller towns or remote locations.

 
Upon Receipt of Goods

Please inspect for any damage and verify the number of boxes as compared to the waybill. Please indicate any damage, wear & tear to boxes or discrepancies while you are signing for the shipment.

Please count your boxes and inspect for damage prior to signing receipt of boxes.


If You Have Damaged Goods:

Please report damage to us as soon as possible. Generally it is better to accept the box(es) indicating damage on the waybill as opposed to refusing the shipment.

We will ship you new replacement items immediately, at no charge, as long as you indicated on the waybill that there was damage. We insure all items we ship, however, in order to make a claim it must be started within 7 business days of shipping.

If you discover damage after the delivery person has left or you did not sign for the items received please contact us as well as contacting the shipping company right away.
