VINTAGE KEEPER STATUS – February 17, 2012
220 Wine & Black colors are available for immediate sale. As these are the Glass door models, they are still considered as "pre-production". The Black cabinets have been through enough generations of "pre-production" and for the past six months we've had minimal to no issues with these cabinets. The wine/mahogany color is a newer release and we have found some minor cosmetic defects.
The 500 in Mahogany/Wine color is still expected to arrive late February but we don't have any firm word. ALL units will have traditional glass doors, while quantities last. All glass doors will be deemed as Pre-production. 500 Black will be released after the Mahogany/Wine. The Lexan (bullet proof glass) doors will be coming later in the spring.
Vintage Keeper changed their policy on “glass” doors as there was too much shipping damage. For the end user, there is no advantage of one door style over the other – it is merely a matter of packaging and reduction of potential shipping damage. In an effort to clear the “glass” door models, the pricing will be aggressive.

Obviously if any shipping damage occurs then Rosehill will take care of getting you a new door. The Lexan will eliminate the inconvenience of potential shipping damage.
Please note that your credit card will not be charged until a cabinet has specifically been allocated to you and you have approved final purchase.
The newly designed Vintage Keeper cellars will have 20% more bottle capacity, lightning fast assembly and over 200% more insulation value. The cabinets will be made of reinforced stackable heavy duty honeycomb plastic which allowed the opportunity for increasing the insulation levels while reducing the overall weight and size. The shelves are also made of plastic. Rosehill expects that the prices will remain the same. A neat new feature!: The new cabinets are "hot air up" meaning they need unobstructed air flow at top of cabinet, but this allows the cabinets to be placed closer to the wall at the rear of the cabinet.
New cellars will have the bullet-proof glass door (Lexan).

Bottle capacity is based on standard bordeaux bottles with a 10% mix of half bottles - so the actual bottle capacity indicated may be slightly overstated. Please note these cabinets are still extremely efficient in how the bottles are loaded into the cabinet. and the manufacturer has been able to acheive the stated capacity. Some manufacturer's may indicate large bottle capacity but this may entail a large amount of bulk storage which can be awkward.
The Vintage Keeper Wine Cabinet is built to CSA-US, CSA-Canada and CE International overall certification.
This Vintage Keeper unit may also go by the name of: VP, NUVO , TWE , Tuscany Plus and Tuscany Odyssey.
