Wine Cellar Builder
Wine Cellar Builder
Our company has been building custom wine cellars for the past 22 years and requires additional full time installers.
Some of our projects are a complete room build that involves tear-out, framing, electrical, insulation, drywall, taping and sanding, painting, flooring, install racking, door, and lighting.
Some of our projects are supply and install racking and a cooling unit only, where others have prepared the cellar for us.
You must be able to properly set up a job site for business. This entails protecting the customer’s property and setting up dust control and managing your tool staging area.
Layout walls and door openings from CAD drawings and frame accurately so that our finished racking will fit.
Minor electrical in some cases.
Install vapour retarder and insulation to our standards.
Supervise if we use spray foam by outside sources.
Hang drywall, tape and sand to produce a good quality finish.
Prime and top coat ceiling and walls.
Install slate or ceramic tiles on the floor, grout and seal if necessary.
Install our kit racking or custom racking as per drawings and supplied by our factory.
Racking installation requires a high degree of finishing carpentry skills to make it perfect.
Hang an exterior grade door with lockset and hinges.
Clean up at end of job.
Debris management is considered during the entire building process.
The entire time you are on the job site you are a representative of our company and must act appropriately.
You must have all the tools to complete the above mentioned tasks.
A truck is required due to the volume of tools and the materials you have to sometimes pick up.
Gas is paid by the company.
The position is full-time and you are hired as an employee.
You will have full WSIB coverage.
You are expected to work a full 8 hour day.
Our projects are in the finer homes of Toronto, Mississauga, Oakville, Burlington, north Toronto, and a few other places. So travel to job sites is different for each job.
The successful candidate must be at the higher end of the scale in terms or how they conduct themselves on our jobsites and the quality of their work. Please do not waste our time if you are not able to fulfill the work and conditions outlined above.
This can be a great job for the right person and you will be part of a highly successful team in a niche market!
