OXYGENATE young or tannic wines

A wine is considered "young" in the first two to three years after bottling. Wine that you have just bought is, in a sense, "hibernating". This is why before serving you need to "wake it up" in order for it to reveal its full personality.Decant your wine using the Aerator. Its swirling spout distributes the wine around the sides of the decanter.

The association of the two will allow rapid oxygenation in order to stimulate and free aromas.

Please note, that it is generally undesirable to oxygenate older wines.
